When I started The Buzzz it was with a simple aim to try and work with the kinds of people who inspire by the things they set themselves to do. This simple graphic captures it perfectly and is, not surprisingly, doing the rounds on LinkedIn amongst the myriad of consultants who frequent the same groups as me.
We were quite happy in those early days to go out of our way to try and devise ways to streamline the “right type of client”. Why? Simply put, I felt that these kinds of relationships would last the longest and with the efforts we had to put in to even get an appointment to see someone, you wanted to try and make sure they were people you wanted to work with. I am genuine when I say this is a philosophy we have stayed with and it has paid off. We are not the biggest or even the best consultancy (that would be arrogant), but we still value and invest in client relationships with people and organisations that exhibit these characteristics.
I believe that by mirroring these characteristics in our own approach we have built some really powerful client partnerships because we share the same philosophy. Let’s face it over the last 4 years there has been a lot more ‘getting shit done’ than ‘dreaming big’ but now we are starting to see signs of big dreams and plans returning it does make the whole thing a lot more fun!
If you share this simple approach to getting more out of a partnership, give us a call and let’s have a coffee and dream big.
